IVAN JANSEN QUARTET to perform at the Bonaire Jazz Festival (under the name Affettuoso)

Both artists performed first as soloists and then together playing and improvising on Antillean/Aruban folklore music arranged  in a Jazzy overtone.  They finished the program with a dazzling rendering of Spain/Concierto de Aranjuez joined by the then 18 year old Serghio Jansen, the son of Ivan, also guitarist.

In concert at the Curacao International Jazz Festival with a 10-piece band

In 2004

At the Curacao Jazz Festival, Ivan played the “Versatility” repertoire with the 10-piece band that recorded the CD.

On June 17, Ivan performed at the famous Jazz club, the "Juan Sebastian Bar" in Caracas Venezuela accompanied by Caracas Jazz ensemble.

One June 18, Ivan Jansen performed with the Caracas Jazz Ensemble in Valencia Venezuela, presenting his original compositions, recorded on the "Versatility" CD.

Ivan Jansen performed a classical master piece by Italian composer, Ferdinando Carulli (1770-1841). Concierto in Sol Maggiore, per flauta chitarra e orchestra.
Artistic Director and Conductor James Brookes-Bruzese conducted the Czech Moravian Virtuosi Orchestra.

Amsterdam Symphony Orchestra

As part of the celebration of the 50 year Statute of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in 2004, Aruba organized the Concierto Strea di Ora.

Ivan performed with he Amsterdam Symphony Orchestra in The Hague, Netherlands, as a solo guitarist, together with Annelies den Outer, with a solo flute performance, performing the 25 minute suite of Carulli.
